About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. Employ effective search terms and information retrieval skills to identify relevant research, ask and answer clinical questions.
    2. Critically appraise scientific literature using knowledge of the hierarchy of evidence, sources of bias, and research methodology.
    3. Apply an evidence-based approach to evaluate medication-related problems and formulate a pharmaceutical care plan.
    4. Demonstrate effective communication skills.
