About this subject
Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:
- Demonstrate how to ask and answer clinical questions using effective search terms and organisational skills.
- Develop skills to understand the hierarchy of evidence in the literature.
- Apply an evidence-based approach to evaluate medication-related problems and formulate a pharmaceutical care plan.
- Demonstrate effective written and oral presentation skills.
- Subject's topics to be confirmed prior to semester commencement.
CSA721 is a self-directed, fully on-line subject, that explores a variety of disease states and their management, using a series of patient cases linked to assignment based questions, to enable the student to enhance their knowledge in the area of clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.
