About this subject
Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:
- Develop a research objective and questions relevant to maritime and logistics management.
- Develop new and innovative ways to achieve the research objective through applying relevant research methods and domain knowledge.
- Communicate about a project and its components to stakeholders in the maritime and logistics sector.

This subject is more suitable for students in final year of their master program. In this subject, students will apply relevant research methods and knowledge gained from other subjects to carry out an industry research project. Students will work independently under the guidance and supervision of research-active academic staff. The industry research project should be related to the field of maritime and logistics management. It is highly recommended that the project focuses on real-life, practical management issues especially at work. The knowledge and skills gained from the subject are expected to enable students to carry out rigorous and independent research to gain in-depth knowledge of the subject matter for their future career development.
