About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. Explain essential nutrients aquaculture feeds and their role in controlling performance and quality
    2. Describe major commercial feed manufacture technologies in an aquaculture context
    3. Evaluate and communicate key fish performance indices in the context of aquaculture nutrition research
    4. Analyse the role of ethics and sustainability in aquaculture nutrition
