About this subject

  • Upon successful completion of this subject, students should be able to:

    1. Articulate the importance of the FASEA Code of Ethics and the values that underpin it.
    2. Contrast different ethical frameworks as applied to financial planning.
    3. Apply ethical frameworks to solve dilemmas that are encountered in the role of a financial planner and financial adviser.
    4. Explain the importance of the best interest duty of a financial planner and the due diligence in maintaining client records.
