About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject , the student should be able to:

    1. identify current understanding of the environmental and ecological determinants of health in the context of national and international policy.
    2. interpret climate change models and projections in the context of environmental sustainability and potential effects on population health.
    3. analyse information on environmental hazards, assess potential health impacts and relative risk for stakeholders.
    4. create and communicate proposals to address environmental health risks within the scope of legislation and regulation
