About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. Identify and analyse the influences of current and emerging digital platforms and social technologies on tourism
    2. Evaluate and communicate impacts of technology on the digital visitor journey
    3. Analyse and propose innovative practices in technology for the tourism industry
    4. Apply practice and discipline based skills and knowledge in dynamic technological contexts
    5. Develop, assemble and apply relevant transferable skills and professional attributes to respond to digital visitation challenges
