About this subject

  • By the end of this 10-week course, you’ll be able to:

    1. Describe the major stages of human psychological development throughout the lifespan.
    2. Demonstrate an understanding of the basic concepts of psychology including theories of learning, sensation and perception, personality, motivation, and interpersonal relationships.
    3. Apply the basic concepts of psychology to health and illness.
    4. Describe psychological models relevant to understanding wellbeing and ill health.
