About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. identify an engineering problem and select the project for implementation
    2. apply economic evaluation analysis and selection methods to identify the best approach for a project
    3. describe an appropriate organisational breakdown structure and work breakdown structure for a given project
    4. develop a project schedule to implement the project with consideration of budget and resource constraints
    5. develop a suitable monitoring control technique to evaluate the progress of a project.
