    1. Explain key concepts underpinning public health practice and research.
    2. Describe the public health areas of practice.
    3. Apply foundation knowledge of health-related data sources and epidemiological methods to describe the occurrence of health outcomes.
    4. Explain how research evidence informs public health practice.
    5. Describe how the public health cycle leads to improved population health.
