About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. explore the main features of First Nation peoples of North America, Australia and the pacific region
    2. identify and apply appropriate frameworks for undertaking a comparative analysis
    3. critically analyse the different approaches to the colonisation of First Nation peoples
    4. evaluate a range of strategies employed by First Nation peoples in response to various forms of colonisation.
