About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- critically review a transport system or related economic or land use facility
- evaluate the existing concept, theory and practice and develop recommendations for improvement
- design a case study investigation procedure for the selected topic
- adapt the appropriate transport policy, planning or operational measures for the selected topic
- Identify a case in traffic/transport engineering
- Methodology development
- Case analysis
- Preparing report
This subject will enable you to undertake case study investigations of a transport system and/or its interactions with land use or economic facilities in preparation for a later research project. You may select one of the traffic/transport engineering projects which they are familiar with or may be related to their work as the case study topic. Academic staff from UniSA will provide study materials closely related to the topics and assist students to develop case study reports.
