About this subject

  • On completion of this course students should be able to achieve the following learning outcomes:

    1. Describe how structure and function are integrated in organ systems responsible for body support and movement, body homeostasis and reproduction. .
    2. Explain the interdependence between form and function in the innervation, blood and lymphatic supply of the body’s organ systems.
    3. Identify the anatomical landmarks and relationships between organs and structures and interpret their relevance for other disciplines.
    4. Appraise the physiological mechanisms controlling body homeostasis in health and disease.
