About this subject

  • On completion of this course students should be able to achieve the following learning outcomes:

    1. Defend the relevance of a clinical governance framework in the provision of quality healthcare in a nominated healthcare setting
    2. Outline the advantages and constraints of providing a single integrated system of clinical governance using the Four Pillars of Clinical Governance
    3. Create a clinical governance impact statement with regard to staff in a typical hospital ward environment
    4. Design an educational resource that links the Clinical Governance Standards for Western Australian Health Services with the National Standards for the Registered Nurse
