Storytelling and Genre Writing

About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, students will be able to:

    1. identify the principles and techniques of storytelling in a selected genre;
    2. apply techniques of storywriting effectively in developing a concept for a short writing project;
    3. apply a working understanding of the role of reading and research in genre writing; and
    4. apply the principles and techniques of revision and editing appropriate to a selected genre and readership.
