NDIS and Disability Legal Issues

About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate a command and coherent understanding of the nature and scope of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Legislation, application of the rules, concepts, and theoretical underpinnings of the NDIS;
    2. demonstrate initiative and judgement in applying administrative law principles to solve legal problems that arise in diverse contexts and to critically reflect upon policy issues arising with the implementation of the NDIS; and
    3. produce clear and coherent written communications that are based upon analysis, synthesis, and the application of professional judgement, as well as reflection and evaluation of the relevant law, the underlying theoretical principles, in relation to the NDIS.
