• What you'll learn

  Upon completion of this subject, students will be able to:

  1. analyse and evaluate ways in which ideas and values are communicated through Chinese, Indonesian and Japanese cultural activity;
  2. evaluate and analyse aspects of literature, cinema and popular culture of China, Indonesia and Japan, including influences upon them;
  3. demonstrate a broad understanding and critical awareness of cultural issues in China, Indonesia and Japan; and
  4. demonstrate a developed awareness of Chinese, Indonesian and Japanese cultural expressions.
