• What you'll learn

  Upon completion of this subject, students will be able to:

  1. demonstrate knowledge and practical understanding of content relevant to the NSW Creative Arts K-6 Syllabus (GTSD 2.1.1);
  2. apply knowledge and skills to create an effective learning environment, and use a range of teaching strategies and resources appropriate to K-6 Creative Arts (GTSD 3.2.1);
  3. demonstrate a practical understanding of the processes involved in effective curriculum development in relation to planning, programming, assessment, reporting, and evaluation, relevant to implementation of Creative Arts (GTSD 2.3.1); and
  4. demonstrate an understanding of the place of the Creative Arts within the school and the wider community, and the contribution the Creative Arts make to students’ personal, social and intellectual development (GTSD 1.1.1).
