About this subject

  • Students who successfully complete this subject will be able to:

    1. Recognise the key research classifications, and the value of a robust and unbiased research methodology
    2. Identify research topics and develop an appropriate plan for their investigation
    3. Conduct a review of relevant literature and prior research using various sources
    4. Design a data collection instrument and identify limitations in such an instrument
    5. Undertake fieldwork ethically and responsibly
    6. Apply and recognise the limitations of a variety of analysis techniques
    7. Present research outcomes in relation to the research topic.
