About this subject

  • Students who successfully complete this subject will be able to:

    1. Critically analyse leadership models in historical and contemporary business environments
    2. Apply problem solving methodologies to complex environments that require leadership skills associated with building a “readiness-for change” culture, embedding organisational and individual resilience
    3. Critically analyse leadership and managerial competencies relevant to leveraging emergent knowledge creation and adaptive practice required for collaborative, multi-stakeholder agendas associated with global business dynamics
    4. Demonstrate developed knowledge to build social capital and related teamwork as an element of sustainable business practice in meeting complex global agendas
    5. Communicate proficiently in professional practice to a variety of audiences, function as an effective member or leader within a diverse team.
