About this subject

  • On successful completion of this subject you will be able to:

    1. Improve business logistics and supply chain management operations through the effective implementation of information technology.
    2. Integrate business models with supply chain design focusing on information sharing to sustain business operations.
    3. Identify and evaluate e-supply chain design issues and generate effective solutions.
    4. Develop, plan and select an appropriate e-supply chain design for a company based on its business model, overall business strategy, capabilities and current supply chain configuration.
    5. Identify and determine the importance of e-supply chain management in assisting the functional areas of e-business and e-commerce.
    6. Contribute to the work of a team to generate solutions to a range of e-supply chain management problems.
