  • On successful completion of this subject you will be able to:

    1. Select and recommend the most appropriate financial and investment strategies for individual clients.
    2. Critically analyse the role of insurance in personal financial management and risk protection.
    3. Calculate taxation liability and social security entitlements for a range of clients.
    4. Evaluate asset management structures best suited for estate and succession planning for an individual.
    5. Explain the nature and purpose of pension schemes and retirement incomes policy to clients.
    6. Develop basic financial plans for clients with diverse needs.
