About this subject

  • On successful completion of this subject you will be able to:

    1. Prepare a range of financial planning strategies based on clients’ objectives, needs and risk profile.
    2. Identify clients’ financial aims using a variety of data collection and interview techniques.
    3. Critically examine ethical and conflict of interest issues in the provision of financial services to consumers.
    4. Produce a comprehensive and compliant Statement of Advice (SoA).
    5. Implement and review a financial plan and use software skills to engage with clients in real-time.
    6. Demonstrate the integration of specialist technical knowledge areas within financial planning in developing strategies and recommendations for a client.
