About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will:

    1. develop conceptual frameworks to understand the range of settings where ideas about Community Development are put into practice
    2. become knowledgeable about a number of specific Community Development sites and target groups
    3. extend their understanding of the part story and narrative has to play in contemporary Community Development practice
    4. develop a funding proposal to support a community-based project
    5. contribute to regular discussions related to the range of contextual factors that shape different forms of community work.
