About this subject

  • On successful completion of the subject students are expected to be able to:

    1. choose an appropriate theory or method to carry out research, and apply this theory or approach
    2. critically evaluate the application of research theories and approaches, including evaluating ethical considerations in research
    3. concisely write a report, grant application or argumentative essay on applied research
    4. present on a research project utilising conventions of oral and visual communication
    5. incorporate critical evaluation of work from others, including peers and educators, into personal evaluation of a research project.
