About this subject

  • On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to

    1. demonstrate creative writing and close reading skills in relation to concepts, craft and technique
    2. plan, write, edit and rewrite short-form creative works
    3. understand and use technical creative writing terms, vocabulary and narrative studies concepts in the analysis of texts.
    4. analyse and appraise the work of others in writing communities.
    5. assess and evaluate contemporary Australian and international creative writing in print and digital modes.
