About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. Identify and reflect critically on the knowledge and skills developed in their study of history
    2. Construct an evidence-based argument or narrative in audio, digital, oral, visual, or written form
    3. Examine historical issues by undertaking research according to the methodological and ethical conventions of the discipline
    4. Analyse historical evidence, scholarship and changing representations of the past
    5. Identify and interpret a wide variety of secondary and primary materials
    6. Demonstrate an understanding of a variety of conceptual approaches to interpreting the history of fascism
    7. Demonstrate an understanding of the history of fascist movements in the nineteenth and twentieth century

    Students who have an Academic Standing of Suspension or Exclusion under Macquarie University's Academic Progression Policy are not permitted to enrol in OUA units offered by Macquarie University.
