About this subject

  • On completion of the subject you will be able to:

    1. Gain familiarity with and the ability to critically evaluate the scholarship on terrorism
    2. .Develop a strong conceptual and empirical awareness of the complex phenomenon of terrorism
    3. Demonstrate independent research skills, critical analysis, and persuasive scholarly writing skills
    4. Develop the ability to write a major essay that makes an argument showing an interpretation of a terrorism issue

    Students who have an Academic Standing of Suspension or Exclusion under Macquarie University's Academic Progression Policy are not permitted to enrol in OUA units offered by Macquarie University. Students with an Academic Standing of Suspension or Exclusion who have enrolled in units through OUA will be withdrawn.
