About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. identify the reasoning and cognitive processes involved in transforming incomplete information into intelligence knowledge
    2. analyse individual and group dynamics in organisational settings
    3. create an intelligence product using a range of advanced analytical tools and approaches
    4. evaluate a diverse and evolving body of academic literature on intelligence analysis
    5. create texts, such as reports, case studies and briefings, using appropriate academic research and writing.
    6. Students will be able to develop and present an intelligence estimate of a complex situation, applying centres of gravity analysis.
