About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. understand survey research procedures and when they are useful
    2. understand quantitative techniques used to analyse survey data
    3. locate information and critically evaluate the findings of previous research
    4. identify problems with survey administration and choose appropriate solutions
    5. draw upon firsthand experience in choosing survey methods, administering surveys and writing 'good' survey questions
    6. analyse primary data collected from survey research.
