About this subject

  • Students are expected to:

    1. Develop creative writing and reading skills in relation to concepts, topics, craft, technique and voice
    2. Evaluate creative writing processes
    3. Identify, engage with and apply concepts of poetry in narrative form
    4. Analyse and discuss the work of others in writing workshops

    Students who have an Academic Standing of Suspension or Exclusion under Macquarie University's Academic Progression Policy are not permitted to enrol in OUA units offered by Macquarie University. Students with an Academic Standing of Suspension or Exclusion who have enrolled in units through OUA will be withdrawn.
