About this subject

  • 1. Contextualise literary and material primary source evidence and interpret it using disciplinary scholarship from Classics and Ancient History.

    2. Develop enhanced collaborative problem solving abilities through in-class analysis of primary and secondary sources.

    3. Write with authority about aspects of classical mythology.

    4. Reference ancient sources and scholarly sources correctly within the context of a well-evidenced research essay.

    5. Understand ancient Greek and Roman mythology and how they are connected to each other.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed 60 credit points of Level one subjects
Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed MDS3CLM Classical Mythology or MDS2CLM Classical Mythology or CAH3CLM Classical Mythology are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
