About this subject

  • 1. Compare how Australia and Asia have responded to political, economic and social change since the 19th century, and how it has impacted relations.

    2. Construct a well-argued essay, drawing on print and online social-media research.

    3. Contribute meaningfully to critical discussions and debates about Australia's engagement and evolving relationship to Asia.

    4. Demonstrate mastery of select social media tools in an investigation of Australia's relationship to Asia and its contemporary signficance.

    5. Demonstrate clear understanding of the basic parameters of Australia's longstanding and complex relationship with the Asian region.
