About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will have:

    1. an appreciation of the key elements of a WHS management system
    2. an understanding of the main parts of the model Work Health and Safety Act
    3. the ability to apply the four steps in the risk management procedure to protect workers from hazards at work
    4. an understanding of the main types of hazards at work
    5. an appreciation of process of eliminating or controlling the risk to health and safety at work.
