After successfully completing this course you should be able to:
1. Compare and contrast key characteristics of social and cultural entrepreneurship with traditional concepts of entrepreneurship, including approaches to 'blended-value' creation that achieve both commercial success and social impact.
2. Critically discuss current and emerging trends in the field of social and cultural entrepreneurship and enterprise in Australia, and around the world.
3. Articulate the role of social and cultural entrepreneurship and enterprise in improving societal outcomes, and their significance in relation to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
4. Apply and critique key social and cultural entrepreneurship capabilities, practices, and tools.

This course introduces key characteristics, concepts and trends in social and cultural entrepreneurship that are emerging locally, nationally and globally. Through applied practice and engagement, students will explore how innovation approaches can used for the common good and are the key success factors of delivering both commercial and societal outcomes.
