About this subject

    1. Produce a portfolio of evidence, including identification of appropriate referees, to effectively address a financial services internship or graduate position description and selection criteria.
    2. Implement reflective practice techniques to apply your knowledge of workplace rights and responsibilities, including those under the Corporations Act 2001, other legislation and financial services regulation.
    3. Demonstrate a range of generic and behavioural skills required to be an effective professional, including the application of ethical communication in negotiation and managing conflict.
    4. Apply theory, including Utilitarian, Deontological and Virtue ethical frameworks, to decision-making in financial advice scenarios.
    5. Relate leadership behaviours and traits to upholding and promoting the FASEA Code of Ethics and advancement of the financial advice profession.
