About this subject

  • This subject provides students with the opportunity to integrate their theoretical knowledge and empirical skills through a practical research problem. It allows students to work through, and reflect on, the process of conducting an applied research project. The subject has three aims:

    1. To connect criminological knowledge and research skills in an applied context
    2. To reflect on what has been learnt throughout the program
    3. To relate criminological knowledge and research skills to the development of applied research skills for the workplace.

Students working towards the Master of CCJ must complete all of the above subjects before enrolling into CCJ747. Students must also have 80 CP towards their degree to enrol in this subject.
