About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. Demonstrate an ability to identify key political institutions and understand how they impact on business and society.
    2. Explain politics and current events in an international context.
    3. Critically analyse government business relations.
    4. Compare Australia's system of government business relations with those in other countries.
    5. Describe some of the key policy issues confronting business including the areas of corporate social responsibility and sustainability.

    This course evaluates student performance for Assurance of Learning purposes for the program learning objective (PLO): Develop and apply knowledge and skills which enhance employability and career paths.
