About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. Demonstrate knowledge into adult learning theories, training and development processes, problem-solving, analysis and practical applications in the area.
    2. Undertake an effective training needs analysis (TNA) to ensure that training is learner focused and achieves desired organisational outcomes
    3. Plan, design and develop an informative and engaging training session which has positive impact on individuals and the organisation
    4. Evaluate the effectiveness of a training session
    5. Demonstrate professionally relevant Human Resource Development (HRD) skills by analysing contemporary HRD organisational problems and applying relevant HRD solutions
