About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. organise, summarise and present data in relevant useful forms
    2. make use of data and range of methods that are useful in making inferences, about business problems
    3. recognise situations where statistical analysis would be of benefit
    4. use the statistical tools in the excel spreadsheet package to perform basic statistical data analysis and interpret results of the analysis.

    • Microsoft Excel 2010 - PC Version is recommended. Special arrangements with the textbook publishers will need to be made for students wanting to use Microsoft Excel on a Mac.
