About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. explain the relationship between land use, urban form and transport systems, including its role in shaping travel behaviour
    2. examine the main features of the infrastructure agencies; including the regulatory framework, powers and responsibilities
    3. evaluate measures for an integrated approach to the provision of transport infrastructure and urban form
    4. apply a range of transport planning techniques for assessing demand and supply of infrastructure.
