About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. examine the issues involved in tax administration
    2. utilize computer software programmes that are used in industry
    3. explain how income tax is administered, lodged, assessed and collected
    4. apply and explain the audit and appeals procedures of the Tax Office
    5. analyse some of the issues facing the tax profession, including ethical dilemmas.
