About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. analyse and define aesthetic elements and their application within a design context
    2. analyse and interpret indigenous perspectives and applications of aesthetics and spatial experience in built environment
    3. analyse design exemplars and interpret the social context in which they are constructed through site visits
    4. reinterpret a design aesthetic into a creative work that is informed by research
    5. communicate a well-structured, evidence-based discussion on the perception and experience of space.
