About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. appraise the various bibliographic devices used to provide access to subject content
    2. apply the principles of conducting an effective reference interview
    3. apply principles of advanced and specialised forms of subject retrieval, including citation based retrieval
    4. recognise the issues and standards related to ethical reference and information services
    5. apply principles and practice of advanced disciplinary subject retrieval.
