About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. research and explain theories and models of effective assessment principles and practices
    2. create assessment items suited to a diverse range of students, to determine student achievement
    3. analyse students’ assessment task responses, provide constructive, informative feedback to improve student learning, and interpret student data
    4. use effective communication and classroom management skills when assessing student learning
    5. collaborate with school personnel to make consistent and comparable judgements of student learning.

You must either have successfully completed the following subject(s) before starting this subject, or currently be enrolled in the following subject(s) in a prior study period; or enrol in the following subject(s) to study prior to this subject:
