About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. explain and analyse the legal principles relating to consumer and competition law as they apply to business actions and strategies
    2. assess the consequences of a breach of the laws for business, directors and employees
    3. apply legal reasoning and problem solving methods to identify, analyse and resolve problems relating to consumer and competition law
    4. apply appropriate techniques to select, evaluate and use information from primary and secondary sources to make informed judgements about legal issues relating to consumer and competition law
    5. write well-structured documents using appropriate language and styles that are relevant to consumer and competition law.
