About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. apply knowledge about diversity and diverse abilities to plan differentiated teaching to meet specific learning needs
    2. research and analyse information and strategies related to diverse groups
    3. create individual educational plans to meet the specific needs of learners
    4. justify teaching and learning strategies to engage learners from diverse cultural backgrounds inclusive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
    5. illustrate strategies to engage and collaborate with families/carers, paraprofessionals and professional colleagues to support diverse groups of students.

Study load

0.125 EFTSL
This is in the range of 10 to 12 hours of study each week.
