About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. identify methods and processes appropriate to a painting art specialism
    2. apply skills and  techniques central to a painting art specialism
    3. effectively communicate the research process to a group of peers, using art specific technical terms
    4. originate and critically analyse responses to set projects.

Level 2 subjects normally assume an introductory level of prior knowledge in this area, eg. from studying related Level 1 subjects or other relevant experience.

    • Other special requirement — Supply your own art materials and have access to a digital camera and/or scanner for documenting your artwork for assessment.

Study load
