About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. describe strategies that work within school and/or system, curriculum and legislative requirements to support students’ well-being and safety
    2. design a personal learning management plan that comprises and synthesises philosophy, theory and practical strategies
    3. examine the interconnected relationships and roles of teachers, students, parent/carer(s), schools, communities and professional networks in education and communicate effectively with these stakeholders
    4. compare and contrast a range of classroom management theories that are designed to engage all students in learning inclusive of those with diverse needs.
