About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. describe and critically analyse the framework for local plan making
    2. examine and review the implementation of local planning including the assessment, control and guidance of development through regional, state and local legislation and plans
    3. apply logical process, and search databases, to competently analyse the factors which impact local communities
    4. demonstrate critical and creative thinking for future planning scenarios
    5. effectively and clearly communicate ideas, concepts and solutions both orally, graphically and in written form when working individually and, in a group setting, demonstrate the capacity to utilise the strengths of each member

  • OUA-PSU-GCE-2022 - Postgraduate Single Subjects
  • UNE-PRO-GCE-2022 - Graduate Certificate in Professional Practice

This subject is a prerequisite for another subject and must be taken prior to URP560 Integrated Plan Making.
